Ground was broken in early 2025 on the state-of-the-art Dodoma Stadium in Tanzania's capital — a 32,000-seat national venue designed to become a landmark and a hub for international sport.
The project is scheduled for completion by mid-2027, in time to host matches for the Africa Cup of Nations. Beyond its architecture, the stadium is envisioned as a catalyst for sports tourism, a generator of local employment and a symbol of civic pride for Dodoma and the nation.
The project also marks MCG's entry into East Africa, alongside the establishment of a new office in Tanzania.
