Al-Alamein Hospital

Health services are among the main essentials required in recent years, and in light of the serious epidemics that have spread around the world.

The Egyptian Ministry of Health held a competition for a prototype hospital model that could be built in any location by adhering to a fixed number of floors — ground plus four upper floors, without a basement. Al-Alamein Hospital is one application of that model.

The prototype includes emergency, endoscopy, outpatient clinics, radiology, laboratories, obstetrics and gynaecology, blood bank, dialysis, premature infants, physiotherapy, inpatient wards, five intensive care units, operating theatres, central pharmacy and sterilisation, and full support facilities.
