Restoration of East Al-Fouta Palaces

The project is located in the Al-Fouta district in the heart of Riyadh, and covers a number of historic palaces built during the reign of King Abdulaziz Al Saud.

These palaces represent a vital part of Riyadh's architectural heritage and embody the early era of Saudi statehood. Distinguished by an architectural style that reflects the design language of the period, they are considered masterpieces built by master craftsmen using locally sourced materials.

The current initiative restores and completes the remaining palaces and reinforces them structurally, adapting them for new functions in line with contemporary needs so they can be reintegrated into the urban fabric and contribute to sustainable development for the local community.
