Saint Catherine's Great Transfiguration

The Greatest Transfiguration over the Land of Peace project in St. Catherine is one of the most prominent projects of the Ministry of Housing. President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi followed up on its development and directed that it be consistent with the status of this unique sacred spot in the land of Egypt, and presented to humanity in appreciation of the great spiritual value that stems from its being the incubator of the three monotheistic religions.

The government is developing an integrated vision for the construction and marketing of the eco-lodge at St. Catherine, with the aim of promoting it as a destination for global tourism.
